Tonight, the "Heavy duty brass construction for durability" of the splitter failed miserably. The not so durable brass construction corroded and caused major flooding in my laundry room (connected to my kitchen). In the photograph, you can see where the stem of the splitter broke off from the faucet.Luckily, I was home at the time and shut the water off. There had to be about 5-gallons of water spread across the tile floor. It could have been far worst if I wasn't there to shut it off.Please take note of this warning for those who are potentially looking at this item for purchase. I recommend checking out another brand with better "Heavy duty brass construction for durability." ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Not Impressed *by D***N on Reviewed in the United States on April 16, 2017* Been using the brass with plastic knob version for about 15 years now. Had to replace it a couple of years ago because I failed to drain water from it during a hard winter freeze, and once the water trapped inside turned to ice it pushed itself off of the faucet. Did it again this winter - jeez when will I ever learn. Anyway...Paid extra for this "all brass" version. Have two complaints...1). A couple of the brass knobs wobbled and had to be tightened.2). It doesn't have the same mounting slot as the other two units did for helping secure the weight of the unit. Instead it totally depends on the strength of the faucet and water pipe to support the weight. Add the weight of 4 hoses plus the device and I start worrying that the solder on the main water pipe will hold the faucet on.They used to come with the support bracket and mounting bolts... miss that. ### ⭐⭐ Valves drip a lot, hard to open & close. *(but AMAZON issued a refund in less than 24 HOURS!!) Worked fine, seemed well built, but thru the year I noticed the little shutoffs didn't entirely shut off the water from the ends that had nothing attached... as time went by these dripped more and more. I tried moving the shutoff levers back and forth, sometimes that would stop the drip but not for long. This year as I hooked everything back up I see that 2 are dripping quite steadily when supposedly shut off. Also the levers can be very hard to turn at times; so with the pools of water on my patio under this fixture and difficulty turning on & off I'm going to try for the refund, says "3 year guarantee" se we'll see.***UPDATE*** Wow, I asked to return this connector last night, this morning I got an email reply that a full refund has been made, no hassles, no returning the faulty unit, just an apology and swift refund; THIS IS WHY I SHOP ON AMAZON!!!
