He's a very physical kid, great climber, and scores well above average on his motor skills, but I can't imagine him being able to use this any time soon - definitely not next year, and possibly not the year after that. It has no stabilization at all, so it will require great balance and core muscles, and an awareness of all body parts/limbs. I feel it's probably more 5+ years than 3+. Right now he mainly enjoys wrapping it around the tree trunk.
