Review: Completely transformed my 2005 Nissan 350Z OEM Top - Truly impressed with this stuff! I used it on a 2005 Nissan 350Z Roadster’s original top, which was in good shape but SUPER faded and the top legitimately looks almost new. I cleaned it with a soft hair brush and higher end car soap originally, fully dried, and then just applied ~2-3 coats in the evening before letting the car dry outdoors overnight It was super humid and the gel-consistency material wasn’t drying so I feared I’d come out to a mess but it dried perfectly by morning!! The dye did drip with the morning dew before it fully cured and it was a bit of work to get off the paint / glass but it did come off after using a tar and sap remover. It’s been a few weeks and still looks great! The dye hasn’t worn off or rubbed off on the inside of the car’s cover, nor has it faded at all. Even the highly worn areas of the top are significantly diminished aesthetically. For the money I’d absolutely do this again and have recommended it to friends. Application wasn’t difficult at all and I’m shocked at how nicely it turned out. I’d recommend using a cheap hardware store foam art brush for the smaller areas just to make application easier

I used this to restore the black color on my Bestop Core Trail Doors (painted metal doors that were looking dull and dirty) and it made them look new again. I do need to re-apply a couple times per season, but that’s not a big deal. I just used it on a Bestop soft top - the material now looks rich and fully restored instead of faded. The bottle goes a long way - my first one lasted 2 years, which is why I just bought a second bottle. Great value for the results you get.

I have a 2012 Mustang. I bought a 2" foam roller to apply the dye. It comes with a larger piece of foam to apply it. I put a little bit of dye on the roller and applied it to the roof. Just roll it like you are painting a wall. I only applied one coat. I still have more than half of the bottle. The pictures that I put on is when it was still wet. It dried beautifully. I highly recommend it. Apply waterproofing after it dries.
