## Questions & Answers

**Q: Just wanted to check that every element of this pen can be recycled, including the plastic ink chamber and metal, and doesn't contribute to waste?**
A: Hi there - thanks for your question....all parts of the pen are recyclable, as long as there is no ink left in the plastic ink chamber. Soak the pen in hot water for 2 minutes and the paper shaft will unravel. This will then allow you remove the metal nib from the plastic ink chamber, allowing you to recycle all parts appropriately. Hope this helps!

**Q: Why is the ink chamber plastic ? Plastic is oil.**
A: In our original model, the ink chambers were plastic - however, in our mission to move towards plastic free stationery, we have been able to modify our design, replacing the plastic ink chambers with stainless steel ones, making us 100% plastic free. Hope this helps!

**Q: What is the tip size?**
A: The normal size of a regular biro

**Q: Are the pens vegan and Cruelty free/not tested on animals?**
A: I don’t know the answer to this, I suppose it all depends on the glue used. I am vegan and feel they are okay as the glue is water soluble. As for being tested on animals, I can’t imagine many pens are nowadays… I hope this helps

Lovely looking pens, feel a bit slimmer than a standard pen but still grip and write well. All the lids fit slightly different which isn’t a problem, just worth mentioning. Probably because they are all handmade, which I think adds to their charm. Overall lovely pens, good service and a reasonable price.
