The ducks are on to them of course, but they are still effective at drawing birds to your spread but somewhate counterproductive for getting the birds to finish - thus the remote. I like this simple on/off remote as opposed to the multicycle remote where it is difficult to know which mode you are in or if the decoy is actually on or off. The magnetic wings are awesome, the pole is improved, the battery compartment is snug, too snug for some batteries but does eliminate vibration if you have the right battery. I am dinging it a star because the battery that came with the remote was stone dead - classic cheap Chinese quality.
