I use Ayurvedic herbs and oils for every day.The company writes “ We blend Vedic wisdom, pure ingredients and mindful attention to create the finest skincare products. We take guidance from the age-old wisdom of Ayurveda and empower it with modern science to create products that are more relevant to today's changing lifestyle.” The product is also free of all things you don’t want in a skin care products (like parabens).Well, imagine my surprise at what happened when I applied only ONE drop of this elixir. First, I found the scent to be overpowering and I simply adore scent. Okay, that’s subjective, so I wouldn’t take away stars normally for not liking the way something smells unless it smells bad. This does not. It’s just strong (though I can not place what it smells of). My skin stung from just that one large drop applied to my face with my fingers. Five minutes later I felt like I was having some trouble breathing and my eyes were feeling puffy and burned slightly. I had to use two different skin care products to get this product off my face.I am not usually all that sensitive to skin care products. In my opinion it might be best for dry skin. You are to shake the bottle well, put a few drops in the palm of your hand and dot over your face. The oil can cloud or solidify in cold weather.The oil is strongly scented and I find it best to use at bedtime, under a moisturizer.
