Read my comment about the catch! *by E***R on Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on May 3, 2017* Its a decent replacement however, be advised, the headphone metal mesh is not included, so, that being said, watching couple instruction videos online, neither mentioned this issue. After replacement was done, I spotted the ugly earphone HOLE too late when the phone was already assembled and screen glued to the front frame of the assembly so there was no other way to get this back from the old display than to bend it and try to pry it in, now it sticks out and has silver-ish spots due to pressing it in, I used fingernail yet still it scratched the paint off on couple of spots which will be fixed with a sharpie, not a biggie, just learn from my lesson.Took one star off as this display does not seem to operate the KNOCK ON feature of the phone. Can be due to protective film yet i hardly believe so as the display reacts to my regular tapping and swiping which is in fact accurate and responsive even with the stock protective film on.The notification light is not working however I blame that to be of my part and not display of course, so make sure that everything is pressed back on firmly when assembling the phone together.MAIN PROBLEM with this particular item is that it come with nothing, not even adhesive tape around the rear side bezel which was something really, REALLY disappointing. I didnt have anything on hand and wanted to be done with it the day I took it apart prior getting this so I scratched the rear side of the display up a bit with flathead screwdrivers edge all around the contact of the phones display frame which was also scratched up for bonding adhesion of epoxy which solved the lack of the adhesive although I could take 2 stars for that as it is unbelievable you only get display as is with out any instructions, any prying tool and mainly the headphone speaker grill warning of any sort. I guess this is for shop fixers who already learned their lessons but the people who need to do this very occasionally.All in all, display doesn't flicker in MAX Brightness like LG stock display did which is pleasing. Colors are more on cold side but makes me feel is bit crisper although the max brightness does give me the dimmer impression than the stock one, I can tell its definitely dimmer even though I didnt take the screen film off yet, cant wait whats hiding beneath the spot where the LG branding should be. Its covered with black tape.If screen protective film removal solves the KNOCK ON issue, update will be posted, otherwise, 4 stars for solid, nice and responsive display for little higher price but definitely saves your phone from garbage trash, yet give 100 more bucks and you'll get a new mid range smartphone thats probably packed with better features than this model.EDIT: KnockOn Feature is back and working, I found out it was disabled, either due to replacing the screen or taking the phone apart, its hard to get it back to work as updates virtually prevents you to access this feature freely. With the help of Shortcut Maker app, you can easily get it back to work. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ ... for this product function properly and are just as good as my original screen *by A***D on Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on June 14, 2016* The parts for this product function properly and are just as good as my original screen. the tool given to take out the screen is made of plastic and was initially effective with its sharp edge however as you work with the phone, it becomes jagged and duller making it more difficult to use.With the help of YouTube and the equipment provided, I was able to change the LCD and glass screen in about 30 min. The screen runs smooth and does not show any problems with response. I strongly encourage to buy this product.
