I don’t mind the movement of the rack but I do mind installing and uninstalling the hitch tightener.** A: I would not say it's required, but I would highly recommend using it to keep everything snug and solid. Simply carry a 3/4" wrench or socket and ratchet. It is easy to install and uninstall. **Q: my bike has 1.85" wide tires, will they fit ?** A: Yes!!! The inside dimension between the wheel bracket is 2 5/8", so your bike will fit. **Q: Will this work with a 29” full suspension? Rack was surprisingly stable even at high speed (up to 100km/hr on motorway). Didn't get to drive off road with this.Would advise to add anti-vibration clamp and tow lock.Taking 1 star away as the included tow pin was poorly machined and too short and thick for my tow hitch. Had to manual grind it to get it to fit. The other tow lock I bought separately had no issues at all.Relatively light weight, easy to assemble and disassemble (approx 3-5mins). Does well for its intended purpose. The lock pins were kinda different from the instruction sheet, & some were smaller in diameter than the holes. Some wobbling & balancing I did not like on the road with 2 bikes in. As other reviewers suggested, I replaced both left and right quick removal pins by quality bolts (tight fit in the holes) and nylon locking nuts for safety (less than $5.00). I did not care to make it "permanent" as I have plenty of room for storage.At the mean time while I was there with a ratchet I tightened the center bolt that holds the vertical post (It was kind of loose). Now everything is tight, sturdy and solid, love this rack that costs a fraction of a Thule! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ It works with some extra straps *by on Reviewed in the United States 20 July 2026* Overall, this a decent bike rack for the price. Given that I paid just over $100, I can not complain at all. I would certainly recommend it a a budget bike rack.However, it does have some "wobble". Some of this is from the 2 -inch hitch receiver, all hitch have some play and this is exaggerated when you have a long/wide bike rack. a 1/8-inch of play at the hitch results in inches of movement out at the end of the bike rack. That is to be expected, and a hitch anti-rattle device (they include one) does help to reduce this wobble.Though, there is also some wobble in the various components of the bike rack. Because it can be disassembled, all the pieces have a loose fit. This results in a bit more play. Once the bikes are loaded and everything it tightened down, there is still a fair bit of play.How I fixed the wobble. I was able to almost eliminate all the wobble by adding just 2 tie down straps. One around both bike and the frame of the bike rack, when tighten this basically locks both bikes and all the bike rack components into one solid unit. this really ensures that nothing moved on the rack. the second strap I place between the bikes and my car (to a roof rack, tow hook, or truck bed). This second strap is to stabilize the wobble of the whole unit.
