I love Ariat boots and I have several pairs that are comfortable for a few hours at a time but because of my wide square foot they get tight after that especially on a hot and humid day. These boots are my normal size (12) but I ordered the EE width to try and get some extra room around the toes. These are comfortable, though a little too loose to run in. I have used a standard weight sock under them and they are very comfortable. I could go to really thick socks and take most of the slop out of them, especially in colder weather.
