It has adhesive and sticks between your phone and the case so as long as those are secure, there's no way this puppy is coming apart. I have the bungee attached to my purse and my hiking backpack. After backpacking hundreds of miles this summer, it saved me countless times. I just attach one end of the bungee to my backpack and then can put my phone in my pocket as normal.
