Awesome Kayak.
Used this for the first time today. I have to say that I love it. It’s well made, easy to use, fast to inflate and put away. Made a couple stupid mistakes the first time out, but I also inflated it at the launch site, put it in and headed up the river. Most of the time I will use it by myself, but did take a friend with me. It had way more room than I anticipated. As long as you shove the back seat as far back as you can, it will gain you a few extra inches. Just slightly punch each side back and forth and it does go back further than just pushing it together with 2 hands. (hard to explain, but made a big difference). The heights of the 2 of us was 5’9” and 5’6”. We were both comfortable.Love the pro seats. Really comfortable. Don’t feel like Kayak seats. Great support and I didn’t even use the blue support straps (because I didn’t look closely at the instructions). The only down side to these seats is that it takes a lot longer to dry, but easy to take inside the condo (I live in a high-rise) to re-inflate and fully let the canvas dry. I still wouldn’t go with the lighter weight deluxe onesThe double inflate valves makes it inflate and deflate really fast. I didn’t need to use the pump. Once you unscrew the lower valve the air comes right out. You just have to really catch the water that is trapped all the way in the bow and particularly the stern. Still easy to dry to put away.I wish it came with bungy cords across the bow to stow things like a life jacket if it’s in a place that’s not mandatory to wear but I can probably come up with something to make it work.Regardless this is a great Kayak in all ways. Can’t wait to see the fall colors change next month.I would suggest that if you are deflating it in a grassy area that you put it on a plastic tarp. It makes it easier so that you don’t have to continually dry off the grass that’s stuck to it because it was wet. Use camping chamois towels to dry it off. They absorb a lot of water and are so much less bulky than a regular towel.

Awesome Kayak- A few minor issues
I just bought this kayak last week and took it out this past weekend to test it out. My boyfriend and I are avid kayakers and are used to using hard shell kayaks but the ones we had recently got stolen.. So I decided to try out an inflatable seeing as how they are cheaper and easier to travel with. I bought the sea eagle 330 with the deluxe seats because I thought it would be worth the extra $30 or so dollars for better seats. and it absolutely was... the seats are comfortable and super easy to pump up. First we go the kayak out of the box and inspected everything and it all looked great the paddles were sturdy and long. The bag that comes with this kayak is also amazing... Everything (paddles, kayak, pump, valves, seats) fits in there with room to add more if you wanted (although it gets quite heavy). Automatically we were psyched cause it was so easy to transport just one bag. We got to the river and laid everything out and started pumping it all up. we didn't us the foot pump cause we have a small electronic air pump for our car, and it worked great! everything was soooo easy to pump. HOWEVER this is where we ran into a few issues... this kayak is extremely NARROW! I felt kind of squished in the sides when I finally got in there.. We set up the seats and headed to the water. if floats great. We had a little trouble getting comfortable at first and we really had to adjust ourselves a few times to get positioned correctly but once we finally figured it out it was okay. One other trick I found out was I think it works better if you deflate the bottom of your chair. I felt like when it was pumped I was sitting too high, so I just undid the valve and it was much better. Fairly minor issue. This was also the first time my boyfriend and I had ridden tandem so that took a little getting used to. if you row different directions your paddles WILL hit. Once we got into sync it was much better. The take down was also so incredibly easy... Everything still fit into the bag perfectly and we just packed it up and were on our way. Overall definitely worth the money. Like I said there were definitely a few minor issues, its not perfect but it works great and is totally worth the money in my opinion.

Great Inflatable Kayak
Kayak was delivered in two days in great condition. Took the maiden voyage last weekend - 12 mile trip (about 5.5 hours). We were kayaking with two hard-sided single kayaks. Results: this boat is easy to inflate, looks great, is a bargain, is very easy to transport (especially compared to hard-side kayaks), and is set up nicely to transport people and gear with ease. The "pro" seats are super comfortable and paddles seem to work fine. NOTE: this is not a boat built for speed - it cannot keep up with a hard-sided kayak - but it isn't hard-sided and many of the conveniences and comfort features are precisely because it is inflatable so they really shouldn't be compared! The other great feature is the price. For under $300 this boat was sturdy enough to slide over rocks and bounce around tree-trunks (big storm the night before we were on the river). It has two skegs (protected by little inflatable sleeves - very complete!) but it doesn't point particularly well. We put the front seat forward (to give leg room to back rower) and front rower dragged right foot in water and solved the problem. The spray guard made a nice little tent for our small dog, who got enough sun after an hour and scooted under cover happily. As front rower, I put both legs over the sides (it was comfortable and gave room for dog). If two long-legged people tried to keep all legs in boat, bent knees would be required. At the end of ride it was fast and easy to deflate boat (good quality valves), fold into trunk and head home. We reinflated, rinsed and air-dried the boat this morning and packed back into travel bag. Easy. After one excursion - we rate this kayak "Excellent"!
