Review: Perfect wrinkle resistant backdrop! - I've had this for a few years now, and its perfect. It hasn't ripped or gotten really dirty since using it, and I use it sparingly! It's pretty thick and durable! I haven't had one wrinkle since my purchase. It's pretty opaque. The white is a bright white and I like it for what I use it for! One side is glossy and comes with a protective sheet, I haven't taken it off nor do I use that side, I mostly use the matte side. Pics include the backdrop and an edited picture!

**Q: How well does light shine through the back of this? For example, if I shown colored lights at it from behind would it show though/add color?**
A: You will lose up to 60 percent of light. It is ver thick.

Sure, it doesn't matter if the baby crawls on it and mashes the cake.
It's a great choice for baby shower, and taking photos for the baby.
Also, The background is made of high-quality PVC, just wipe it off with a damp towel during or after the little party, and it can be used again.

**Q: Is the smooth side shiny ?**
A: Yes. It’s shinny but the other side is matte and you can’t tell the difference in a picture.

**Q: Is this translucent? Can you backlight through it?**
A: Though fairly dense a flash or strobes placed behind will help bring the background exposure up to white. Did this in a product shoot.

So far, this has been my best backdrop. One side is glossy, the other matte. I've used window cleaner on the glossy side. It seems pretty strong but I can still get little "dents" if I accidentally crease it. I used a hair dryer conservatively on some and they almost disappeared. Some light can shine through which I have used to my advantage for effect. I know it will be more durable than paper, easier to clean than fabric. Seems to have ideal properties. I just wished I could find a wider version. BT recommended
