### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Bought it to replace failing UK-2000 pre-amp

It arrived surprisingly soon. Replaced my old pre-amp that had started to fail. The new unit is somewhat improved. It has plus and minus markings at the end of the sliders. The old uk-2000 did not, and it was always kind of confusing. So far so good with the sound quality.

pickup was ok but volume wasnt consistant over all strings and there was a lot of finger noise. I kept the pre amp and upgraded to a better piezo pickup.

no peizo pickup assembly = no back plate in battery holder - interestingly the advertising shows the cable with no pickup attached. Tom
