Review: Robust and Quiet!! Highly recommended - This is a great hood!Quiet and robust, I can feel that this hood is making the kitchen less “smoky” and clean. Beside, this hood has really good looking, which makes me feel I’m cooking in modern kitchen rather than 1900s. I bought this vent hood as a replacement for kitchen aid hood from previous owner. Be honest, let professional do professional things, so does hood. This brand really give me good experience on cooking. Installation was a bit more complicated than the round top vent because it needed bigger hole but the template and instructions were detailed enough to install.
Review: Extremely powerful and yet quiet - Overall this is a great hood; that is extremely quiet and really does SUCK! (*smile*). I do feel that it is a bit high priced for what it is and the features you get (no auto-clean, etc), but the quality compared to cheaper models is immediately noticeable. I bought this vent hood as a replacement for a microwave unit with the rear 10" rectangle duct. This is one of the only vents that uses the rectangle duct that i've found to date which is powerful. Installation was a bit more complicated than the round top vent because it needed the hole in the back to be perfectly aligned and air sealed; but the template and instructions were detailed enough to install things. The vent hood works perfectly for all cooking; stir-fry, extreme steaming (lots of steam), etc. Overall I am happy with my purchase

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Has anyone purchased the 3002 model? I just want to know from a buyer's perspective if it is worth the price.**
A: I am happy with it. See my review regarding the use of the stencil.

**Q: What is the dimensions of the rectangular output duct? The manual says it's 10" wide, but I can't find anything about the depth.**
A: It's a standard 10"x3.25" wall duct for range hood venting. You should be able to buy that kind of duct at a hardware store. The product comes with a transition piece that vents to the wall so you don't have to worry about the depth. You install the hood flush with the wall and the transition piece helps seal hood to a rectangular wall duct.

**Q: Is the output duct round? What size round duct is needed?**
A: Hi there,
UQG3002 has two ventilation duct types: one on the top uses 7 inches round duct; another one on the back uses a 3.25 * 10 inches rectangular duct.
Thanks,
FOTILE

**Q: Can this be installed on the wall instead of under a cabinet?**
A: Hi there,
This unit can only be installed under the cabinet.
Thanks
FOTILE

### ⭐⭐ Not easy to clean
*by J***. on January 11, 2026*

Have been using it for two years. The biggest problem is that it is not easy to clean. I would probably choose different model if I knew it when I purchased it. Another problem is that it isn't strong enough compared to my previous one.
