I get too dizzy. I bought this product after reading reviews that mentioned that you can sit in front of the TV or your computer and buff the hair off your legs. Did I mention you could do this sitting down?Yes, it is more time consuming than a razor in the shower. MUCH more time consuming. On the other hand, if you take that time, you get a nice exfoliation, and the hair stays gone longer. After a year of using this product, I find I need to use it less frequently. This is not a product claim; it is just what I have found to be true for me.I do not have many old-lady problems, just a couple of scars from my hiking-and-camping days and one vein that might, at some point, become varicose. I could never use a razor on those areas unless I was planning to donate blood the hard way. I CAN use the Smooth Away on those areas. I have to be a little gentler, but I am in no danger of having to call 9-1-1.But as a person who cannot do those five second shower shaves, this product has been a godsend for me.One more thing that might be of interest to some: I have hairy toes -- okay, not bad, but enough to bother me in sandal season. Razors just create stubble, making it look like my toes have huge blackheads. Plucking is a self-inflicted torture. The Smooth Away buffs that hobbit-hair right off, in just a few seconds. ### ⭐ Ow my poor face! *by B***H on July 5, 2013* 10 years ago I used a product that was similar to this one to remove hair on my arms and it worked really well so I thought I would give Smooth Away a try thinking it might be the same brand since I couldn't remember the name. Well... it wasn't. I tested it on my arms first and it was fine but didn't make much of the hair come out so I thought it would be safe enough for the my face. I have very little hair near on the lip but cause my hair is dark it shows up easily against my light skin. I used it and my face burned for over 2 hours! I used ice and cold water along with corzone to relieve it but it felt like forever. Also after using the pads they smelled like Nair which I am actually allergic to and these things should come with that warning or some kind of ingredient. So that "no chemicals" on the package is a lie! ### ⭐⭐⭐ Works as well as shaving *by L***U on August 18, 2012* I bought this because my daughter uses it. It works ok. About as well as shaving. It does remove the hair, you just need to be patient when using it. Your skin my sting a bit afterwards, but putting lotion on helps. Depending on how fast your hair grows, you might be prickly the next day you might not.
