I used to be a "pot a day" coffee drinker, but a bad gallbladder put that to an end. Since having it removed, I never went back to daily coffee drinking, mainly because I used too much creamer daily, and that sure packs on the pounds.Tea is so much healthier for you than coffee, but until recently, I never acquired the taste for it, especially cold tea. I think the main reason I never cared for hot tea before now, is that I've only ever had the cheap, grocery store types before this.To give tea another chance, a few months ago I purchased my first non-grocery store type, and I soon discovered that a better quality tea sure makes a difference. I liked it. Since I'm new to teas, I hesitate to try new ones, because a good quality tea obviously costs more, so what if I don't like it.When I came across this Sampler Packet of Herbal Tea from Mixpresso Coffee, I decided to try it. Mainly because it contains 3 different teas in one package, so I figured I would have a good chance of liking at least one of them. All three of these teas are infused with fruit, and since I have chosen not to get in the habit of sweetening my tea with anything, I was really excited to try these naturally sweetened teas.The three flavors of tea in this package are:' Fruity Earl Grey' Green Tea & Pineapple/Mango Blend' Sweet Fruits & Relaxing Herbal TeaEach flavor is packaged in its own box, and sealed in an airtight ziploc bag. There are 15 mesh type tea bags in each package, for a total of 45+ cups of tea. The directions say to steep the tea bag in boiling water for 5 minutes. At that, you can get 2-3 cups of tea from each tea bag. My problem is that I usually forget about it for a while, so each cup usually steeps for 10-15 minutes before I remember it. This method makes for a really flavorful cup of tea, but then if I can get a 2nd use out of it, I'm lucky, and if I do, it's a lot weaker than the first cup. So far, I've been ok with my absent mindedness though, because with the fruit infused in the tea, I sure have some really good cups of tea with all three of these flavors.Personally, I prefer the Sweet Fruits & Relaxing Herbal Tea, and the Green Tea & Pineapple/Mango Blend over the Fruity Earl Grey. That is saying nothing against the Earl Grey, it's just my own personal taste. Who knows though. Once I become a more "professional" tea drinker, my tastebuds may change, and the Earl Grey could become my favorite.Not only do these infusions taste exquisite, but they also contain no added sugar or artificial flavors, colors or preservatives. Since I have changed my lifestyle, and have adopted a healthier eating style, an all natural, good quality tea is very important to me.If you enjoy sitting down with a cup of tea, and would like to try a unique flavor, I recommend giving this Sampler Pack of fruit infused teas a try. I like to drink it the English way with milk and sugar, I like to drink some teas with just honey, and I like to drink some fruity teas just plain. This fruity herbal tea was in the just straight category. It did not need any honey or sugar. It has a very light fruity herbal taste and is very good tasting. I am pretty much a very frugal person I will push things to the limit . I used each tea bag 3 times. Each cup was steeped for 5 minutes. The 1st and 2nd cup both tasted pretty much the same. The 3rd cup was weaker tasting than the 1st 2, but still tasted great. These teas not only taste good but they smell good too.This tea comes in 3 flavors..---sweet fruit & relaxing herbal tea---green tea & pineapple, mango blend---fruity earl greyEach flavor of tea comes in its own box, and within each box is a ziplok bag with 15 tea bags. So you get a total of 45 tea bags, 15 of each. The fruit taste is very light tasting and very delicious.
