I would have never used this except my family (3 people) was travelling for only 2 nights for my son's college graduation and we didn't need 3 separate suitcases. All it had was 9 changes of clothes and it only weighed 23lbs at check in. The back seam ripped apart and the metal wire around by the zipper was ripped out and bent. I do not recommend this to anyone. ------- I bought this on vacation because I needed a 2nd bag and this one had decent reviews, was relatively inexpensive, and would get there quickly. Unfortunately I only used it one time and the seam on top strap is coming apart. It's not like this was overloaded, it didn't even weigh 30lbs. Although The bag seems sturdy this gives me a lot of concern about it ripping apart in other spots and possibly losing items. The bag looks nice and it is definitely roomy enough. The spinner wheels make it easy to lug around which is good because, again, the strap is coming off. I can't give it any more than 3 stars because I don't feel confident using this to fly again.
