**Q: How does the water drain out of the bottom - there doesnt appear to be an opening?**
A: As far as can see there is an opening on top and underneath so water can flow easily through it

**Q: Can this be used outside for a patio?**
A: Hi,
I used this for a patio as I wanted a clean level finish. I’m not sure if this is the correct use for this but I requested that my hubby made it suitable for the gutter down pipe to drain away and it’s worked a treat and really completes the look. I get the odd build up of moss or that from the gutters but with regular maintenance cleaning, it’s not an issue at all.
