The size of this basin was perfect but I was not in love with the look of it... kind of blue and rough looking. I ordered it anyway in the hope that I could paint/seal or something. When it came I was delighted! It's white, smooth and shiny fiberglass just like a tub. installation was easy, just connect to the same plumbing as the tub I removed ( I did have to go to Ace for a reducer) it sits directly on the floor so nothing gets underneath.
