Super slim and minimal bulk! *by M***K on Reviewed in the United States on July 19, 2016* The Spigen [Tough Armor] HEAVY DUTY [Champagne Gold] EXTREME Protection / Rugged but Slim Dual Layer Protective Case is perfect for my new Galaxy S7 Edge. I have used Spigen product in the past and have yet to be disappointed. These fit perfectly on each phone I have had and always offer great protection, with minimal bulk. Measuring at 0.2 x 3 x 6 inches with air Cushion Technology, Military-Grade Protection. It has large cutouts to fit most cables while protecting the phone and camera, which is really nice! I love the kickstand feature, which is really nice when I am watching videos on my phone. Also, the buttons are covered, so not dirty or dust getting in the keys. The case does allow for a wireless charge, which others do not, and you can add a screen protector with this, again something other cases for the edge do not work with. It is 2 layers, one layer is Shock-absorbing TPU interior and the exterior layer is a hard polycarbonate. Just slip the interior layer over your phone, then clip the exterior layer on. Super easy to put on. I love the color options that this comes in, I went with the Champagne Gold for a girly look. I got another for my hubby in Black. It is an attractive case that still gives amazing protection. I have already dropped my phone and my toddler has gotten it and thrown it, the case did exactly what is was supposed to and protected my phone from damage. I had one for my Galaxy S6, and absolutely had to have one when I upgraded to the S7 Edge. It is very affordable, rugged, and still very slim. Unlike a lot of other cases that provide good protection, but are bulky and take away from the beauty and slim profile of the Samsung devices, this case has a nice, slim form-factor. I have dropped my phone several times already (I'm rough on phones), and have not had any damage to the phone yet.All the holes line up perfectly and allow you to maintain all functions of the phone, including wireless charging. Also, the case is easy to take off and put back on. This comes in extremely handy when you are using something like the Gear VR, which can't be used with a case on the phone.Other cases that provide the level of protection that this one does are WAY harder to remove and put back on. In fact, the way I ended up with this case initially on my S6 was because I had to remove my Otterbox and it broke in the process of removing it. I picked up the Spigen while waiting for the replacement to come from Otterbox, thinking "It's cheap...I'll just return it when the Otterbox replacement comes." BUT when I found out how much better I liked the Spigen case, I actually sold the replacement Otterbox on Craigslist and kept the Spigen!I highly recommend this case for anyone that has a hard time keeping their phone in their hand, but doesn't want to break the bank. The stand could use a little upgrade (possibly make it metal instead of plastic), but it works fine. This is the one I've been searching for. I think I'm going to stop now. The Spigen Tough Armor case for the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge arrived today and I'm very impressed.Positives:- You can tell the case has been made with very exacting dimensions. The Edge display rises about 1 mm above the side and is clearly visible.- Solid feel. The only way I can describe it is hard-rubber. Definitely an upgrade over the soft vinyl case it replaced.- Soft rubber coating. Very non-slip in my hand or sitting on desk. I put it down on a granite counter-top and it doesn't slide. Nice.- Responsive side buttons. I can actually hear & feel a click. I was worried the "tough" outside would make pressing the buttons a problem but it doesn't really.- Kick-stand. Good viewing angle to watch movies. Phone doesn't fall over when screen tapped with phone propped up by stand (unlike my first case which did).- Relatively thin. Much thinner than my first case. This is a good thing as it fits in my hip slip case pretty well.- Works with the Pleson wireless charger. Big relief when it worked as my first case with a kick-stand wouldn't (due to that case's thickness I think).Negatives:- I got the black case. Soft-rubber seems to attract dust and slightly show oily finger prints. (But to be truthful, I'd rather have the soft-rubber coating than not. That way, the phone won't slide itself off the counter if it's ringing in vibber-mode.)- Kick-stand is thin. Basically it's good enough, but don't try to pry anything apart with it. (On a side note, it does allow the case to be very thin so we'll see how it works out in the long run.)Other reviews have posted the side buttons have no feel so are difficult to locate. However, the buttons are do have notches on either side so I feel for those.
