The first thing I thought of was chicory decaf coffee when I took my first sip. I had poured 8oz of water heated to 180F and brewed the tea for 5 minutes, then stirred it up. I added a teaspoon of sugar, which made it a little too sweet. Perhaps a 1/4th teaspoon would be better, though I normally do not drink coffee or tea with sweeteners.
