The first case I had was not real leather, it was "PU leather" which is really crappy. You can get various colors, but the durability is crap. This cell phone case is leather which will hold up very well. It is sewn well. It looks good and is not clunky. I keep my drivers license and 3 credit cards in the slots. I keep an additional 5 cards and cash in the area behind the credit card slots like a mini wallet. The case has not stretched out and lost its shape even with all the stuff besides the phone.
