I use a ton of sesame seeds. This was a good price for organic so I got it. They seemed almost stale. They were very hard to chew and swallow and seemed to have much less oil than most seeds. Took three times as long as most sesame seeds to toast, too. I'm used to differences I quality and freshness based on brand but really, I wouldn't ever by these again. Not sure what stock they are pulling from - maybe seconds? - but these were just really no good. Not rancid, just very poor quality.
