I made the entire box worth for 3 people (a mistake) and ended up freezing 4 servings and had two more in the fridge. I made too much but luckily it seems curry makes good leftovers and seems to freeze well. Great for meal prep if you are into that sort of thing! The curry I made from this was delicious, I used fresh white onion, peeled and chopped carrots, a can of diced potatoes, and some boneless chicken thighs I cut into bite sized pieces. I followed the directions on the box and also watched a few videos on how to prepare curry from a roux (including the one on house foods website). I subbed a cup of water for a cup of chicken broth, added some salt and pepper, and 3-4 tablespoons of ketchup with the roux. It came out delicious! A few things I noticed about this Roux: * It tasted great! * Smells great both as the roux and while cooking. * The finished product was very smooth and creamy. * The spice (heat) level was nonexistent. I couldn't find any at all. Possible cons? I thought it tasted great, good balance of sweetness and savory. However, I had my sister try some and she said it tasted like brown gravy (like you put on turkey).
