Review: Perfect Replacement Sash for Andersen Windows, Install Less than 5 Minutes - The sash fit perfect and was a direct replacement for my 25 year old Andersen single hung window that had a broken sash. The sash fit perfectly and was easy to install, less than 5 minutes. FYI, Andersen Windows has a proprietary design on this sash so it's not available from any of the big box stores but Good ole' desertcart had it in stock and the price was 40% lower than ordering direct from the manufacturer. My only comment is that's it's all plastic instead of metal, thus I will reconsider buying Andersen windows in the future.

But the one it replaced was plastic also. Works just fine and serves its' purpose, just have to be careful. Price was a little high, but needed it to secure window. But glad desertcart had it.

The sash fit perfect and was a direct replacement for my 25 year old Andersen single hung window that had a broken sash. The sash fit perfectly and was easy to install, less than 5 minutes. FYI, Andersen Windows has a proprietary design on this sash so it's not available from any of the big box stores but Good ole' Amazon had it in stock and the price was 40% lower than ordering direct from the manufacturer. My only comment is that's it's all plastic instead of metal, thus I will reconsider buying Andersen windows in the future.
