I know technically it is not a lake, but after a good rain and a little imagination it is close enough.Mounted them on the boat and headed out after dark with high hopes of catching bass. The fish, unfortunately, had other plans.After three hours I had caught exactly nothing except a mild sunburn from earlier in the day and a questionable buzz from the cooler.What I did catch was the attention of the entire neighborhood.These lights are BRIGHT.About an hour into the trip I looked over and noticed Miss Peggy standing on her porch in a bathrobe trying to figure out why it suddenly looked like daytime outside. Jimmy later told me he thought the county was installing a new streetlight. Randy claimed he could see my boat lights reflecting off the side of his trailer from three lots away.At one point a turtle surfaced near the boat, took one look at the lights, and immediately went back underwater. The items provided for bow installation (clamps, etc.) are fine for dinghies with wood. metal, hard plastic, etc., bows but not for inflatable soft-sided dinghies. It was a simple fix but be aware you will have to come up with a "fix" to add the bow lights to an inflatable. The Attwood product is well built.
