Our 68 lb. ocd ball dog is too stubborn to use it by herself, but has learned to drop in the balls (but she wants a human to do it). I switched to plastic chuck-it balls (2.5") and they don't get soaked so it keeps working well. The Negative: We stored it for 18 months, and then tried to use it. The battery would not hold a charge. After reading time reading reviews and searching online, I went to the ifetch website (be patient, it is SLOW & eventually found a contact email. By this time, I was tired, frustrated, and very annoyed. I explained to the problem and my frustration with a non-working and seemingly not replaceable battery to the company. The Joyous Resolution: The company responded in a few days with a very nice email and asked for my address they could send me replacement battery. After a few days they sent a follow-up email apologizing for the delay and letting me know that they hadn't forgotten, but the battery was going to take a couple extra days. It arrived in less than 2 weeks, and only took 1 screwdriver to install. It charged, and it's working perfectly. I am very thankful to their customer service team, especially Grant. It has been off the charger now for 3 days, and every time I or a dog drop a ball in it, it works, so the standby mode is functioning perfectly. I was told that if the battery is left for several months, or 18, it will stop holding a charge.
