Door swings perfectly, holding itself open and closed without a catch (making it easier to open when hot!). Looks the part when lit and the 360-degree mesh makes it perfect for an all-round flame, while protecting your clothes & garden furniture from sparks. Would recommend. (Needed a paint touch-up but the finish allows for that nicely) Customer service was excellent!

A: No, I would  get some concrete or paving slab underneath for although the fire burns above the base it still gets hot!

Easy to assemble. Instructions are clear. Door swings perfectly, holding itself open and closed without a catch (making it easier to open when hot!). Looks the part when lit and the 360-degree mesh makes it perfect for an all-round flame, while protecting your clothes & garden furniture from sparks. Would recommend. (Needed a paint touch-up but the finish allows for that nicely) Customer service was excellent!
