## Description

Did you know: The chest is one of the top 3 heat loss areas on a dog? And of those three areas—the ears, chest & paws—the chest is the easiest to protect. Why then do most dog coats only cover the back? The Doggy Dickey is the original neck—and chest—warmer for dogs. The Doggy Dickey slips over the dog's head, wraps under the front legs and closes on the back. The collar has a slit for the leash and because the back is completely open, the dickey works great with a harness. During cold weather the dickey can be worn alone or under a coat for added warmth where dogs need it most—around the heart and lungs. Plus, you can feel it working! After only a short time in the cold, the dog's chest area will be much warmer than his exposed fur. Made in America, The Doggy Dickey is available in eight sizes from Chihuahuas to Great Danes, including a Greyhound-specific size with tapered neck piece. The flexible design of the chest plate allows the Doggy Dickey to contour around any dog's shape, including broader chested dogs like Bully breeds and Dachshunds. So even those hard-to-fit dogs now have a go-to winter weather accessory that both looks and feels great.

### ⭐⭐⭐

Not for Boxers, but great for other breeds.

Great product for a medium-large sized short haired dog for when out in coldER temperatures for short amount of times. However, I own a Boxer that I purchased this for, and the Boxer has such a deep and low rib cage/chest, it does not fit him as well as I expected after reading the description. Speaking from the Boxer standpoint only, I do not think this is a good fit for them (I even ordered a larger size taking into consideration his ribcage/deep chest needs). For other dogs, I feel the design is great, designed to help keep "core temp regulating" areas of the body better insulated. There is a small hole at the neck so you can still walk your dog in this get-upBest... The way it is designed, both male and female dogs can be let out to "do their business," protected from the cold for short periods of time, while not soiling this garment a drop, when they are doing their deed.

Very nice... My dog loves it. Just wish it was a little thicker.
