Those Cree's don't seem to fit anywhere, we still have ours. **Q: Does this have a standard cord that I can just plug into an outlet?** A: no they do not have a standard cord - They are designed to mount on an octagon electrical box like a normal wall or ceiling fixture. However they are beautiful and very modern...we have gotten many compliments on them. If you know an electrician they could run wire from the outlet and mount them with an electrical box. **Q: does this fixture take a standard light bulb?** A: This fixture takes 1 - 60W medium base bulb. **Q: my son accidentally broke the glass of this light. is there any way to order a replacement?** A: Please order it as follows: Part "A" Glass for 4271-91. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Loves these *by M***A on May 7, 2025* These look so elegant in the house and easy to install. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good Replacement *by J***N on July 30, 2025* Good replacements for our older models ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good looking light for the money *by L***S on March 12, 2012* I really like the look of these lights, the small Nickel accent with the Alabaster glass looks really nice and matched well with my ceiling fans. The packaging is a bit on the light side, one of the lights I ordered had a crack on the glass. The unit mounts using the strap and threaded post method, like most smaller light fixtures. You just mount this metal strap to the electrical box with 2 screws and adjust a threaded post in or out until it pokes out through a hole on the metal back of the light fixture. The metal back was well made and sturdy, however the two screws that mount the bulb base protruded out far enough to prevent the unit from laying flush against the wall. There is also a recessed area on the metal plate to allow for the wires to tuck back behind, although it could be a little deeper to help let the wires lay flat and let the fixture sit flush on the wall. The glass just drops in the metal clips, which are installed from the manufacturer. So, the light was really easy to install, after s few minor tweeks (fixed the screws protruding and did my best to lay the wires flat on the backside of the mounting plate). The picture doesn't show it well, but the glass actually sits on an angle, with the bottom touching the wall. Not a huge cosmetic issue, but not what I was expecting. Also, I didn't realize it until I turned the light on, but how the bulb sits in the fixture makes sense when you put it in, but when it's on the bulb is offset to on side. This makes a "hot spot" that is visible, although the diffuser does help some.
