Years ago I had a proglide premium handle that I managed to get really cheap on sale and I loved it! This one feels just like that, except instead of being a slippery chrome unit it's made out of plastic. Oh, and more importantly, this doesn't have the pivot ball for the blade cartridge to pivot around sideways. SO if you want to use these with proglide or fusion blades you totally can, but you won't get the advantage of the proglide's sideways pivot. Honestly, I think I like the longer more distinct handle more than having a sideways pivoting head. The shaving pattern is more predictable and feels more effective. The unique aesthetics gives your Gillette razor a more refined look. But more than its looks, the handle offers something different. It feels significantly lighter than the regular Fusion handles with what seems like the middle part holding all the weight. But somehow it does not feel unbalanced at all. In the middle part you have a concave part on one side and a rubbery part on the other for superior and comfortable grip. For those looking for a lighter handle or simply to give your razor a different look, for the price, this is one purchase that’s well worth the value.
