The "teeth" on the comb insured that any nits in the hair were easily removed. Definitely recommend this product. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Coincidence or Miracle? *by L***I on June 24, 2016* I purchased this comb to remove debris from the under side of my Shih-tzu's ears after they got infected after the vet tech told me that's what she used. Coincidence? A week later my 17 year old daughter complains of an itchy head several times. I had never had a personal experience with head lice before in my life. Upon inspection I find an infestation of nits in a very long, extremely thick head of hair. This comb was a life saver! I used the little brush to remove the nits from the comb in the sink using hot water and soap. Combing her hair several times AND using olive oil with tee tree oil allowed me to eliminate the lice completely in about a week. I highly recommend the tea tree oil mix. I would comb her hair once I treated her scalp using cotton balls dipped in the oil mixture one small section at a time. Use 1/4 cup olive oil to 10 or so drops of tea tree oil. At one point, the lice were jumping, hopping or what ever from her head as I combed the oil mixture through her very long locks. The oil was great for her hair too. We also used a few drops of the tea tree oil in her shampoo and conditioner as a back up. BTW...place a plastic shower cap or plastic bag over the head after oil treatment to further suffocate the nasty critters for several hours or overnight. We did overnight the first time and then a few hours the next. Good luck! ### ⭐⭐ Not fine enough for lice...dosent work on thick hair *by M***S on August 3, 2016* Its not fine enough to get small bugs out...works fine for adult insects...and grass...i use this to get grass clippinhs out of my hair when i mow.
