As soon as the mailman brought it to my door I opened it up to sniff. It was overwhelmingly citronella smelling straight from the bottle. I know oils sometimes smell differently when in a diffuser so I put some in my living room diffuser. To my disappointment it still smelled mostly of a citronella. It was a “clean” smelling scent, but nothing like I was hoping for. My husband and kids asked why I was burning a misquito candle lol. You can smell the lemongrass, but it does resemble the scent in Ivory Soap. I had done a search on trying to find out what was in Ivory Soap fragrance but was unsuccessful.
