At first I was considering mounting it under my steering wheel column, but decided against it. Paranoid someone would see it and steal it. Instead I found my pistol and the magnet were the perfect size to fit in my center arm rest storage. When the lid is lifted up, my pistol swings up with it held firmly in place and is easily grabbed and ready to go. The magnet blew me away, I was skeptical at first before I tried it. But as soon as it snapped onto my gun I knew it was high quality USA made. I strongly recommended this is you are looking to conceal carry a pistol in your vehicle, it can be mounted virtually anywhere you can fit it.
