Review: Awesome Value! - I love, love, love this enclosure. For a fraction of the price compared to others, reptile keepers can get their hands on a nice 4x2x2 PVC/Plastic enclosure. Other places charge an arm and a leg for these things. The only negative was that some of the panels had a couple minor dings and dents plus a scratch or two from the lunk heads at UPS throwing it around. I was initially going to ding 1 star because of this, but now that I've got this thing assembled and have been living with it for the past couple weeks, I absolutely love this thing. Even with the little ding on the top this is still a 5 star product. I am using this for a Central American Boa Imperator, so holding in temps and humidity is important. The screen top isn't ideal for this, and I was kind of counting on needing to purchase something to cover the top up with. Luckily I kept a hold of one of the pieces of Styrofoam that this came packed with. The Styrofoam covers the top screen perfectly acting as insulation. This works perfectly to hold in the heat and humidity! I was able to install a radiant heat panel and some led lights easily. This is my first PVC type enclosure like this. I've used tubs in a rack which work good, but don't look great, and I've used glass aquariums which mostly don't work well for reptiles but look good. This thing looks great, and works wonderfuly. I will probably be buying more of these. I will say, I wish they made larger ones, like 6 or 8 feet long. I would purchase those too if they did!
Review: Best Snake Enclosure - This is absolutely awesome! Extremely well constructed and high quality. Very easy to put together even for someone like me. I have absolutely no patience and I'm not mechanically inclined at all and it was still easy for me to put together. Maybe took me 30 minutes tops. The price for this was unbeatable. You try to buy something like this in a petstore and you are easily paying double. Perfect size too. Just fyi I bought this for my Green Tree Python. Get it, you won't be sorry.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Could my adult corn snake burrow well in it?**
A: I would think so, yes. Corn snakes do not need a very deep substrate to burrow in. I've had 2 adults ranging in length from 4-5 feet. They will happily burrow in bark substrate 2 to 4 inches deep. Pile it up towards the back of the tank, and maybe place a 4-inch wide plank of wood paneling or acrylic in front of the door to act as a higher barrier. You'll be fine. Something to note: if you use an under-tank heating source, make sure it's regulated or you risk burning the snake when it burrows. Use a thermostat set to 85 or so.

**Q: am I able to use this with a heating pad instead of a lamp**
A: I have a heating pad on the bottom and side, works great.

**Q: I have recently ordered this product to house my male mouse. How water resistant is the material/should I seal it with another product?**
A: Thank you for the question.
The material itself is water resistant, and will not absorb moisture.
The unit however is not watertight.
If you need it to be watertight, you will need to seal it.

**Q: For the heating pad, would it go on the outside bottom still? What would be a good size to heat through?**
A: I recommend putting the heating pad on the outside and using a thermostat.

If you **HAVE** to put it inside, place a heavy tile or slate rock that covers the ENTIRE heating pad with a thermostat. Make certain that the thermostat probe is secured to the tile/rock.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Just needs silicon to seal gaps
*by R***N on September 18, 2026*

To anyone this may help overall it’s easy to set up and light. Took me maybe 10-15 minutes I plan on getting another way works great for my 2 foot ball python. Only issue I ran into was a corner leaking mightve been my fault from assembly but I’d recommend use silicon to limit gaps but overall it’s my second day with it I like it it’s a big enclosure for a small price honestly 250 isn’t terrible compared to what some other companies want I’d recommend
