The soap (ive bought the black one since i have mostly black boots) should do fine if done right. But id say this, the human mind is not prepped for dark soap. So if you want to play safe, Go white or Yellow for brown or lighter colors. Black for the darker But this should depend on overall experience. **Q: Those of you that ordered the white soap from third pary sellers, did you actually recieve whit? Some pictures look like the black soap.** A: I ordered from Mr. Shoe Care what I thought was "WHITE". I received a "YELLOW" can and the soap in side was "YELLOW". When I complained Mr. Shoe Care said that all of the soap was "YELLOW" regardless of can color. Either they do NOT know their product or I am very confused. I thought the soap in the "WHITE" can was "WHITE".
