Long lasting. Smooth finish. Doesn't dry your lips out. *by B***L on Reviewed in the United States on March 12, 2019* I had never actually seen this color in person, or in a tutorial, or ANYTHING until it arrived.I just knew that I needed a rosey-mauve matte lip color and set out on the internet to research swatches and reviews and all of that until I decided on Lime Crime and the velvetines collection, and finally in this color.I'm beyond happy! This could have easily been too close to hot pink for what I was looking for, not dusty enough, not enough grey tones, but it is absolutely stunning. I'll try to add a photo next time I do my face.But also it really is velvety, and smooth. So many times a liquid matte lip can just suck all the moisture out of your lips and make them feel almost damaged at the end of the day, but this lip doesn't do that at all which is a miracle. Plus, speaking of ALL DAY, it's very much a stain as well so it really, and I mean REALLY stays put.My friends are constantly amazed how my lipstick stays put all day and all night without reapplying anyway, but with this there's no secret magic trick, once it's on it stays.So I wouldn't recommend it for a novice, or someone who is not very confident applying a liquid lip, because it would be very hard to correct any mistakes with this one.For me though, it's perfect because I'm quite a pro at applying lipstick by now, in any form.I am in love with this color. I wanted it because I wanted to move away from either doing a dark red lip (I have every shade of red by every makeup company out there, I swear lol) or a light blush pink for lighter makeup days. This is the PERFECT inbetween, and a great place for me to start introducing more colors to my lip world. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Love it but not much difference between Faded and Polly *by R***T on Reviewed in the United States on July 22, 2016* Pros: I love Lime Crime Velvetines because they have beautiful colors that last. Also, the lipstick only needs to be applied once or twice during the day and a lot comes in the tube, so you don't need to worry about running out any time soon.Cons: You really need to read and look at the samples because the colors can look different in person, and they're obviously not cheap. I've purchased Wicked, Faded, Polly, Bleached, Teddy Bear and Cashmere. I can't really tell the difference between Faded and Polly; but Polly is slightly lighter and pinker but just by a hair. They are a little too similar, so its not worth buying both at the same time. Cashmere is a cool and pretty color for a nude, Bleached is a medium-peachy color, and wicked is an extremely deep, dark red. Teddy Bear is a dark mauve with a hint of brown. I hope this helps someone make the color decision that works for them. I love Lime Crime lipsticks because the quality is so much better than store brands. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Stays pretty well *by L***L on Reviewed in the United States on August 10, 2017* This is a decent formulation matte lipstick, it stays on pretty well and has a nice opaque finish. I seem to have a hard time getting a neat application, though; think it might be the shape of the applicator since I manage it fine with other brands of liquid lipstick. If you get this stuff outside the line of where you want it, it leaves a stain even if you instantly wipe it off. I like the dry feel of it on my mouth, but it does show every imperfection so be sure you are exfoliating and balming your lips at night if you plan to wear this on a daily basis!I chose "Polly" and the color is a little too pinky-lavender for me.
