I purchased this mat specifically because of the materials which state it is PVC. PVC should not melt in the sun. However, the bottom of the mat is thin and really sticky - stickier than most of the other mats I've found. I haven't had a chance to test the mat's durability in the sun but I will update this review once I do.The size of the mat is good for most vehicles. My vehicle is a 2010 Ford Fusion which has a pop-up compartment on the dash. The mat is too big to comfortably sit inside the compartment (and the compartment popped up during driving is a hazard) but because of the compartment if you place the mat on top of it then the pop up compartment becomes kind of useless while the mat is being used.Finally, I failed to take into account that my iphone has an Otterbox Commuter case on it. As a result the phone barely fits in the grooves and even then it's kind of an awkward fit.Overall, there is nothing inherently wrong with this case, it just wasn't a good fit for me. Take into account the layout of your dash, the dimensions of the mat, and the type of case your phone has. ### ⭐⭐ Turned into liquid goop. *by P***K on Reviewed in the United States on August 26, 2015* The media could not be loaded.    I've left this out in the Florida sun for a year and it has melted into a big mess. Had to throw it out before it could melt any further. This was still a great product and would work well in less hot environments. It stuck well to my dash and held any item I put on it perfectly.
