I bought a string a few years ago that I use on my mantel. This purchase, 2 strings, is for the front porch, just enough light to show off the hanging lanterns, ghosts, skeleton, spiders etc. Gives the area a festive feeling and provides extra light for the children. I plan on buying strings of white lights for Christmas to add extra lights to the porch decorations. I am really happy with the lights. They are pretty lights. However, there is one major negative with these strings--the LED's are not socketed, they're permanently wired in and so can't be replaced if one or more fail.
