But it what are you waiting for - Being a top water guy. Particularly top water frogs. This reel stood out to me because of the no drag feature. Having a standard casting reel with a drag with it locked completely down. Felt like I really couldn’t plant that hook set and bigger fish in thicker cover were popping off. From my first hook set with the deadbolt I’ve noticed a big difference in the feel of the hook set. It just plants the hooks a dead stick the fish. You really feel the weight of a bigger fish. Paired with a 7’3” phenix feather series heavy fast casting rod. It’s a gnarly combo. You can cast this thing a mile with out and backlash. Handles 50 pound breed effortlessly. And centrifugal breaking system works flawlessly if you backlash this thing it’s your fault not the reels. Very impressed with this reel. I was on the fence about spending that kind of money on a reel. But I’m very happy with this purchase. I will definitely buy another one if given a chance. Kastking knocked it out of the park with the deadbolt. Review: Great reel for your highspeed cranking needs - I picked this reel up for baits that I like to fish fast like buzzbaits. I'm really impressed with the quality of the reel and even the packaging it came in. The reel is light weight and fits nicely in your hand. All the edges are smooth and feel like a higher priced reel. The speed is crazy. pulling in 42" of line with each turn of the handle is absolutely wild. You can crank once, pause, crank again, or just burn your bait along. I need to try it out with some other types of baits, but chucking around a 1" jig in grass with a reel this fast would be fun too. ## Features - HIGHEST GEAR RATIO BAITCAST FISHING REEL - When KastKing set out to conquer the fishing tackle world with the fastest retrieve speed baitcaster on the planet, they did more than make Speed Demon Elite baitcasting reels fast. They pulled out all the stops. Based on input from Pro anglers in MLF, B.A.S.S., FLW, and BFL and scores of recreational fishermen KastKing added unique and patent pending features. The results were outstanding. And, like all KastKing fishing reels, they made it affordable! - A GREAT FISHING REEL STARTS WITH GREAT GEARS - KastKing used Hamai precision cut aerospace aluminum 44.3mm main gear and brass pinion gear for ultimate performance, 10.5:1 speed and an amazing 42 IPT for super-fast line retrieve. This makes it the fastest gear ratio baitcast reel on the market today. If that’s a little too fast for you Speed Demon Elite is also available with 8.6:1 gear ratio / 34 IPT and all the same other features. - DEMON EYE CENTRIFUGAL BRAKES - Speed Demon Elite baitcasting reels have a revolutionary design “Demon Eye” micro-control exterior centrifugal brake system that puts brake adjustment at your fingertips. After initially setting the internal brake pins you can then fine tune your brakes with the external Demon Eye control. You now have a wide range of 40 adjustments for the bait and conditions you are fishin - WINNING FEATURES ADDED - 10 + 1 double shielded stainless steel ball bearings; Up to 18 Lbs of ultra-smooth triple disc carbon fiber drag; Palm-perfect design; Patent-pending DTCC “Double Tapered Control Chute” line guide to virtually eliminate backlashes, add casting smoothness, and improve line retrieval; Line Memory Dial to help you remember what size line you spooled on; Easy maintenance oil port and water drainage port. - SOLID PLATFORM AND FEATURES - KastKing Speed Demon Elite fishing reels utilize an exceptional solid aluminum frame for zero flex and low weight. Likewise, aerospace quality hardened aluminum alloys are used throughout for the v-shaped spool, worm shaft, split main shaft for weight reduction, higher speeds, and longer casts without noise, and 90 mm aluminum handle with EVA grips. This gives you a cast reel that weighs only 6.7 ounces. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B0863WP5DJ | | Bearing Material Type | Stainless Steel | | Bearing Number | 11 | | Best Sellers Rank | #78,184 in Sports & Outdoors ( See Top 100 in Sports & Outdoors ) #164 in Fishing Reels | | Brand | KastKing | | Brand Name | KastKing | | Color | High Speed-10.5:1-Left | | Customer Reviews | 4.3 out of 5 stars 509 Reviews | | Fishing Line Type | Braided, Monofilament, Fluorocarbon | | Fishing Reel Line Retrieve | 42 inches | | Fishing Reel Maximum Drag | 18 pounds | | Fishing Technique | Baitcasting | | Hand Orientation | Left Hand | | Handle Material | Aluminum | | Included Components | Baitcasting Reel | | Item Highlight | Max Drag: 18 lb, 10+1 BB, 6.9 oz, CNC Lightweight Aluminum Frame, Magnetic Brake, High Speed, Skipping Version | | Item Weight | 6.7 ounces | | Line Capacity | 10/200 | | Manufacturer | KastKing | | Manufacturer Part Number | KRLCSTSDE-105LBK-4 | | Material | Aluminum | | Material Type | Aluminum | | Model Name | KRLCSTSDE-105LBK | | Model Number | KRLCSTSDE-105LBK-4 | | Number of Items | 1 | | Other Special Features of the Product | Demon Eye micro-control exterior centrifugal brake system, DTCC ‘Double Tapered Control Chute’ line guide, Line Memory Dial | | Size | Left Hand | | Warranty Description | 1 Year | ## Product Details - **Bearing Material:** Stainless Steel - **Brand:** KastKing - **Color:** High Speed-10.5:1-Left - **Fishing Technique:** Baitcasting - **Hand Orientation:** Left Handed - **Handle Material:** Aluminum - **Item Weight:** 6.7 ounces - **Material:** Aluminum - **Model Name:** KRLCSTSDE-DB74RGS ## Images ![Speed Demon Elite Baitcasting Fishing Reels,Saltwater & Freshwater - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61AFGuPkSFL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Set** options. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Amazing reel. Good job, KastKing! Do Not Buy. Purchased in May of 2024. This is one of 5 other reels I take on my Canadian fishing trip once a year. I have maybe 15 hours on it because I don't use the whole time. While reeling in, right where the reel guide connects to body broke. It wasn't dropped or slammed. Just reeling in. The plastic broke making the line guide stop going back and forth. This is a complete manufacturing defect. When contacting customer support, the only thing I got from them was Contact Brian in customer support and he will "troubleshoot" the problem. There is nothing to troubleshoot. It broke. The final email came today stating they're sorry for "any inconvenience" but the reel is past warranty of one year. Totally unacceptable. Buy at your own risk. ## Frequently Bought Together - KastKing Speed Demon Elite Fishing Reel, World's Fastest 10.5:1 Gear Ratio/Deadbolt Baitcasting Reel, 10+1 Shielded Stainless Steel BB, CNC Lightweight Aluminum Frame, Available in Skipping Version - KastKing SuperPower Braided Fishing Line - Abrasion Resistant Braided Lines – Incredible Superline – Zero Stretch – Smaller Diameter – A Must-Have! - KastKing Hammer Alpha 9 UHMWPE Braided Fishing Line - Made in The USA, Strong and Smooth, Round, 9-Carrier, Colorfast Braided Fishing Line, Perfect for Most Fishing Reel and Finesse Applications --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.tn/products/247603296-speed-demon-elite-baitcasting-fishing-reels-saltwater-and-freshwater](https://www.desertcart.tn/products/247603296-speed-demon-elite-baitcasting-fishing-reels-saltwater-and-freshwater) --- *Product available on Desertcart Tunisia* *Store origin: TN* *Last updated: 2026-11-02*
