**Q: Does this work on Tongue sores?**
A: Thank you for your question. Our Orajel 3X Medicated For All Mouth Sores Gel provides instant relief from mouth sore pain, including: canker sores, cold sores, and gum irritation, as well as cheek bites and irritation from dentures or braces.

**Q: Does it form a waterproof-like layer and stick where sore is, and relief pain when you drink or eat? Does the layer easily washed away when eat?**
A: Orajel dissolves in just a few minutes and just blends with the mouth's saliva.  It has a refreshing taste, though, and it instantly makes the tooth or gum halfway numb for,  in my experience, about fifteen minutes, but it provides instant and long lasting pain relief.  I probably averaged about six hours between applications, but it is different for everyone, I would assume.  My opinion -- I used it every day for four months, to the point when the pharmacy ran out I personally asked the pharmacist to order lots more.  When they couldn't seem to keep it in stock and went to Amazon, where you can get anything anytime.

**Q: Can do use it more than 4X day listed on the box?   I need a few more times if possible.**
A: I recently suffered a month-long bout of burning mouth syndrome causing a lot of pain between my gums and my dentures.  I must have used the 3X Orajel probably anywhere up to ten times a day.  I just didn't use a lot at one time.  And I'm still here, having suffered no ill effects from it .  It was the only thing that helped.

Genuinely so happy because it numbed the pain away instantly. At first it burned, which is normal as I looked it up, and then my tongue was numb. I have been having terrible irritation and itchiness on the tip of my tongue and down, and itchiness instantly relieved it. You can definitely feel it being numb—but for my case the numbness feel went away quickly but the pain is still gone. Yay!!
