I wanted the set for my 10 year old granddaughter who is struggling reading because I knew this would teach her what the current way of teaching couldn’t. She has already made improvements and astonished her teacher who just can’t believe this video really works. But it does. ### ⭐ Unimpressed *by M***E on November 3, 2007* As a pre-k teacher I am very unimpressed with this DVD and the others in this series. The instruction is SLOW and boring. The one cartoonish character in the series is ok, but doesn't play a big enough role. The teacher is overly methodical and BORING. Furthermore, the producers should have made the class of students more representative of most classrooms in America. I kept looking for any student that wasn't white, but never found one! Of course, I haven't made it past the first couple of lessons on any DVD because they were so boring.
