You can get a fist sized amount from reputable online stores. It was less than an inch, and was just about dead when I got it. The root detached and was practically non existent. The packaging seemed ok with no leaks and the colour was dull. I just assumed this was shirt term due to shipping but it basically broke down in my tank. I have a very low flow tank with no herbivores.
