I would not waste my money if I did not see a visible difference. I have older linens that have grayed or yellowed over time. They gray dingy look is the result of using genuine bleach for a period of several years. I was completely dismayed by the results. After decades of sitting in my closet I decided to try this product and to my great shock it actually made a significant difference! Not as white as my new sheets and pillowcases, but definitely whiter than when they went in and in comparison to their companions of that time period. I will never use "real" bleach again. It has also been effective on reversing the yellowing that occurs with simple age. With yellowing the difference can be even more dramatic than what I experienced with the reversal of the linen's graying from bleach.As an added bonus, this product increases the effectiveness of stain removal products (not necessarily in the TIde family). I have a bad habit of falling asleep while doing crossword puzzles, and as a result many of my lines have ink stains. Despite great effort most of the stain removal products did little to remove or even fade these stains. Despite that I keep trying (they are in great shape otherwise) and to my surprise when I added these pods along with my usual spot treatment the stains were visibly faded compared to the others.
