But the flow of power does not matter if it is going or coming. This is just an easy disconnect to match up to the type of connection of a retrofitted car headlight that lets you do an easy connect without having to hardwire it. When you say, "going from hid to halogen", do you mean you are replacing original HID lights with halogen bulbs? In that case, there are a number of other changes you may be required to make, and I don't believe that this wire will serve a useful purpose. If you mean actually conducting the electrical power FROM a halogen equipped system, to operate newly installed HID projectors, this could be what you need to power the hi/low cutoff shield in your projectors, but again, there are other components that are not part of a typical halogen setup that will be needed to operate a bixenon conversion. When I took on the conversion to bixenon, I found the YouTube videos by THE RETROFIT SOURCE, and the HEADLIGHT REVOLUTION extremely helpful. Was easy and quick connection for just about any H1 Bixenon projector to be able to use the hi beam function in your vehicle. Not much else I can say about it. I shortened mine by cutting it to the length i wanted for my application and then soldered the wires back together.
