Plus, it would not seat firmly in the shoe and you would run the risk of kinking the pipe a bit as you would likely have to over-shoot the bend to get a full 90 degrees. - and you could not depend on the marks on the shoe for sighting 45/30/22 1/2 etc degree bends. As the add says, it will bend 1/2" Rigid as it has about the same outside diameter as 3/4-inch emt. **Q: What is the radius?
