For the heavy metals, Nakedpipe Sediment Filter will remove any heavy metals as small as 5 micro-meters. As for fluoride, many of the customers have asked this question and we wish to clarify this matter. Fluoride is a naturally occurring mineral that is commonly found in toothpaste, bottled water, food, and etc. A fluoride concentration of 0.7 to 1.2 ppm in drinking water can actually help with fighting cavities. (hence the use in toothpaste) We believe that the general misunderstanding comes from most people confusing fluoride and Chlorine. I knew the water quality in texas wasnt the best so never bought in to the while filter craze due to being skeptical if they truly work. I write this review now as i just finished taking my shower today and i noticed a huggggggggggge difference. i use alot of skin moisturizing shower gels as my skin is very dry, while i was showering i noticed a change in the water. It usally feels normal as im use to the feeling of shitty water, but this time i felt a softening effect as the water was rinsing away my body wash. The smell of the water wasn’t even the same i know chloride or something is in it, and now no scent.all in all im a firm believer, by the looks of it ill be needing to replacing the filters soon as it went from white to a dull beige already. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ You'll be SHOCKED at what is filtered out. *by T***R on March 9, 2022* We live in LA. The water is awful. My boyfriend and I LOVE this shower head! We both noticed a significant difference in our skin and hair after using it. The photo is the 1st time we changed the filter and that was after 3 months of use. We both shower daily. Also, we didn't have to change the pH filter until another month and a half AFTER we changed the sediment filter. The pH filter will totally dissolve so don't rush to change it. Now, about the actual spray of the shower head... I LOVE THAT TOO! It's a lot like those rain-type shower heads in that it's misty and not too hard. We even got one of these for my boyfriend's parents and his mom loves it too. (His dad hasn't made a comment, to be fair lol.) We're going strong and have been using it for 6 months now and I legit plan to get one for my friends as gifts. The company seems to have gone out of business and you can no longer buy any replacement filters from them. Global Market sells this exact set (this head, MINUS THE MOLD GROWING RUBBERIZED PLASTIC RING, it has a nice hygienic version that's easy to clean instead, 3 of these filters, and one of these vitamin c filters) branded as Chung Ho for only a fraction of the cost at$11.36 . I switched to them! Their refills are only $7 each also. Much better deal and product!ALSO: DO NOT BUY FROM NAKED PIPE. THEY NO LONGER SELL FILTER CARTRIDGES!If you buy what's left in stock of this thing, that's it. They no longer sell refill cartridges for it so now I have to buy a whole new shower head system...again. Adding to the plastic pollution crisis because of irresponsible companies. 😅😅😅 Luckily Ionpolis makes a identical version of this WITH a sanitary hard plastic ring that doesn't grow mold and mildew like this one does.LAST UPDATE: It's only been a few months since buying this and since it is made of cheap matte finsh plastic, its condition has deteriorated. THIS IS A THROWAWAY PRODUCT. My husband's all metal shower head from Near Moon purchased on the same order continues to be a clean, hygienic, durable, quality product. I will need to replace this with one of their metal version. This cheap rubberized plastic shower head however from this Korean company proves, just like the velvet cushion toilet seats they sell over here, to be an unhygienic nightmare. It is just dripping brown pools of mildew/mold that persists in the very mildew/mold friendly soft matte surface which cannot be properly cleaned due to the textured rubber surface. I will be forced to throw away the refills I purchased and this head as it is no longer safe to use. The mildew and mold just soaks into the soft matte rubberized plastic coating and colonies of harmful bacteria thrive in the moist, soft surface. Please do not waste your money on this gimmick as it was not built to last more than a month or two and I am very disappointed that being very environmentally conscious, I will be forced to put all of this plastic into the environment since it is not of safe recyclable quality with all of this mildew and mold that has grown deeply into its surface.
