Of course to my disappointment, these out of season seedlings were generally far too weak to withstand the out of season weather swings, (even though I'm in SoCal, a baby tomato seedling couldn't survive outside in the winter), pest, and disease. Of course as a new gardener pest and disease was something I was still learning, and I purchase Fluval because it contained ingredients which I saw on one paper made plants less attractive to pest, which reduced their chances of getting diseases. Well, this year, I sprayed my volunteer tomato seedlings with Fluval, and after noticing no damage, I begin spraying them like a mad woman, 2-3 times per week. WOW, not only do I have a RECORD number of surviving random seedlings, but they are some of the most healthy tomato plants I've ever grown. No early blight, almost no sucking pest, and stalks and shoots are bigger and more sturdy than I've ever had. I'll let you figure out which ones were foliar sprayed with Fluval, and which one wasn't. Again, these were all winter volunteer plants that grew, no mistaking this stuff made a difference, and at this price? Well... Review: My favorite fertilizer - This is my 6th purchase. Definitely my go to always have it on hand fertilizer. A little bit goes a long way. 5ml treats 60 gallons. My plants are always healthy, strong and bright green and the red ones are always a nice deep red. I have fish, crayfish, shrimp, scuds and turtles. The directions are not clear though, there is no information on how often to dose; only how much. Unfortunately, my snails and betta got sick and died from the copper content even though it is such a small amount.
