It works great! **Q: Is this a leave in or a rinse out conditioner?** A: It's meant to rinse out. It's very thick so I rub it in my hands to thin it before I put it in my daughter's hair. I used a recycled spritz Bourke and used a little of the conditioner with warm water and made leave in conditioner with it as well. It's not greasy at all and doesn't leave her hair crunchy either. It's great! **Q: Can i use it for my newborn?** A: I personally wouldn’t use much on my newborn. As newborns they don’t need much. I would use the BABY Raw Shea Chamomile w/Argan oil by Shea Moisture. Try not to change the natural oils in the hair till it’s trully needed. Just try to keep it moisturized after it’s clean. **Q: Does this shampoo have sodium?** A: looking at the list of ingredients. sodium benzoate is near the bottom of the list.
