**Q: What are the dimensions of the laptop compartment? (length, width, height)**
A: The way I measure it is: 12x16x 1 and 1/2.
My 17.3 fits with ease.

A: Yes it fits under airplane seat

**Q: Can this hold a cooling pad the same size as my laptop?**
A: If the cooling pad is the same size as the recommended laptop size, then I believe the cooling pad would fit. Plus a lap time of the same size. Plus paperwork and other items in the other pockets and zippers of this computer bag.

**Q: My Dell laptop measures 16 1/2 in. wide but 19 1/2 in. diagonally.  Will it fit?**
A: My laptop is 15" wide and 18" diagonal. I measured the width inside the bag and it looks like it will just about accommodate the 16 1/2 inches within the closing zipper.  Diagonally I measured the inside and it looks like it would just about fit 19 1/2"  I certainly can't guarantee it but to me ti looks like it would fit, maybe a little snug. You can always return it if it doesn't fit. I do love the bag.
